Fantastic book! This is the book beginners should start with, many instructional books and cd's assume the beginnner already knows quite a bit about song structure, back-up and so on but his one explains everything so simply and concisely. Its easy to follow from the very start, the songs are a must have collection of jam tunes for typical bluegrass sessions. They are all well thought out and cleverly arranged, keeping them simple making them very quick to learn. Designed to be used alongside the mandolin and guitar editions, a few beginners can work together and get these songs down with minimal grief! It'll have you playing whole songs in no time. I recommended the mandolin book to a friend and she loves it!
