Good book but not a real beginner book. Demonstrates cords for C & G tuning. Good song selection but mostly instrumental tabs not a lot of lyrics.

I ordered this product, and it has worked best for my style of play. I have tried using other tablature before, and had more struggles with those. The Dillard Songbook has clicked with me the most. If you're one that likes to play the older songs, this book has lots of them, including songs they played on Andy Griffith. There is easier background tablature included to learn with the songs as well. The chordage is easier for me, and the finger rolls are easier, and more enjoyable to play. The tablature in this songbook is also easier to memorize the songs faster. It's more relaxing and calming to learn and play as well. I haven't had to make any changes in their tablature, because it works best for me and my playing.
