Excellent book for the money Aug 25, 2007
By Kenneth R. Clark This book exceeded my expectations. I didn't think for under $8.00 I would get much but always liked spanish music. The arangements are voiced great and sound good. The book is 9" by 12" , has 13 full songs and is easy to read the tabature. Explains very well everything about the tabs.

Good For Beginners or Intermediate Players Nov 28, 2009
By H. Heistermann I bought this book as a beginner guitar player and was very satisfied with it. However, most of the arrangements are simplified versions of what you may expect. They still sound pretty good but more advanced players maybe disappointed if they are look ing for advanced tablature

Great book Jun 03, 2011
By Alan Taylor This book is really fun to play from. I'm only on the second song and the book is worth it already. These are Spanish pieces, but classical in technique, not flamenco.
Easy to play tabs, and standard notation for the rhythm.

No CD! Jun 01, 2010
By HiSissa It's okay. Seems good for a beginner, but probably only if you are familiar with the pieces or can find an audio version of them somewhere to familiarize yourself with. Otherwise, you may need to be an advanced beginner and beyond to get through this without excessive frustration, as knowing what the piece sounds like is key in playing it well. No amount of notation can substitute for that. Don't get me wrong. This is a good book. But who doesn't include a CD with a book like this nowadays?

ACCURATE & ESSENTIAL CLASSICS FROM SPANISH MASTERS Aug 31, 2011
By Michael P. Naughton
"Author of Deathryde: Rebel Without a Corpse"
Howard Wallach's "Spanish for Guitar" is an essential book for Spanish guitar enthusiasts. I have been studying and playing classical guitar for 20 years and found the arrangments to be accurate. Asturias-Leyenda, Recuerdos de La Alhambra, Lagrima and Malaguena are included in this 47 page booklet.
