Fantastic, Bravo, Super Sep 15, 2008
By Just passin trough This is an amazing exercise book. I play nylon string guitar and this book has improved my ability, both left and right hand in just a few weeks. Note that I practice with this at least half an hour a day. I thought I could never have a fast picado but with this book, the exercises in it has made me reach a speed I did not think I could reach, and it's just been two weeks. I had actually given up on trying to have a fast picado. I will obviously plateau, but I can't wait to see where it will be. I play mostly Gipsy Kings and Jesse Cook music, all finger picking. I do the warm-up exercises every time before I play and the difference is great. A great book that has helped me. The book has many left hand exercises, many right hand exercises, and many exercises to coordinate both. It also covers flamenco techniques such as rasgueado. Also has scales, arpegios and string crossing exercises.

great book, some errors Sep 07, 2009
By ointment Couldn't find an online errata for this book. Sometimes the music notation and tab do not agree. I'm assuming the music notation is right and the tab wrong. If so, in Quadrivial Quandary, the following need correction in the tab:
Bar 13, beat one, the E natural should be 5th fret, second string, not 6th fret. Bar 16, the first string in the tab should read 6 5 6 7 6 7 to match the music Bb A Bb B A# B. In the last bar, the last chord should have a 3 not a 0 on the sixth string to match the G bass note in the music.
There may be other errors. I just sightread this piece and thought I'd share.

wonderfull Jul 07, 2008 This a very very good method, it is apparently simple, but is very profound, the excersises are usefull for all, unexperiences and advanced playeres, all guitarrists must study it.
