The trumpet version of this book (Master solos) has much better selections. I know that's comparing apples/oranges, but I bought this version on the strength of the other.
Nevertheless, the accompaniment and demo tracks are good. Try the Canadian Brass Intermediate trombone solos instead.

Well let me give a little back ground first. I have been playing trombone for 7 years and currently my instructor/private tutor for trombone is one of the top in the country, he marched DCI Phantom and Blue Devils so he knows a lot of stuff with brass, he has been playing trombone since he was 12 also so he knows his stuff. I got this book and wow...awesome. For people who need something fun and challenging to play, get this. For people who are new and need help...get this. It will rapidly progress you if you try learning 2 songs a week I would say.
