5You'll be surprised how well you play Floyd  Oct 17, 2007 By Siskbert
You'll be surprised how well you play Pink Floyd with the help of this book. The transcriptions are excellent and the price is great. I got it because on the DVD of the making of Dark Side, Gilmour and Waters are separately shown playing solo acoustic versions of some songs and they sound great. This book will show you how to do that or sound great plugged in.

Another Brick in the Wall (Parts 1&2), Astronomy Domine, Brain Damage, Breathe, Comfortably Numb, Eclipse, Goodbye Blue Sky, Have a Cigar, Hey You, If, Is there Anybody Out There?, Money, MOther, Not Now John, On the Turning Away, Remember a Day, See Emily Play, Shine on You Crazy Diamond (Part V), Welcome to the Machine and Wish you Were Here.

4No Songs From Animals???  Sep 02, 2005 By Kimberly A. Sodano
The tabs are pretty accurate and intensive as far as covering most of the guitar parts (and some of the keyboard) played in the recordings. My only disappointment was that not one song from "Animals" was included. "Dogs" would have been the one I would have selected. Despite this flaw, it is worth the money.

5Great book  Aug 13, 2009 By T. Schmidt "raildude"
Played through almost half the book and it's right on. Finally have some great tabs for a good selection of Pink Floyd tunes. Naturally wished for more songs, but book give a good selection to choose from. I highly recommend this book.

5Very Accurate Transcriptions  Dec 06, 2009 By Steve West
A very comprehensive collection of some of the best Floyd tunes that you've been dying to play. The transcriptions (I've only played a few) that I've played seem to be meticulously accurate, and this is quite useful if you are trying to play as recorded. I have over 40 years experience as a musician, but I am new to the guitar, having played for only a couple of years, and when you realize how many guitar parts Gilmour tracked, it is all the more impressive how great he sounds live. Most of this is beyond the abilities of a novice guitarist like myself, but words can't express the delight I had the first time I played "Wish You Were Here", which is one of the less challenging songs in the anthology. If you like Pink Floyd, buy this. If you can't play it yet, you'll grow into it, so to speak.

5Best Floyd tabs ever seen  Mar 22, 2010 By Povl Marcussen
I have downloaded a lot of Pink Floyd tabs in the past, seen many different tabs on various songs. I have never seen a tabs collection that is so true against Gilmours playing than this collection. Everything is there the lyrics, the tabs, and the notes in conventional form. I do a lot of checking normally when downloading, here I see that is is what comes closest, because DG also do a lot on improvisations during concerts. Just a pity that not all their songs are in, but OK the best ones are in, and I love it.
